The hands, low to high

• Pair and two pair — two or four cards, and the shortest chains on the board.
• Trips — three of a rank.
• Straight, flush, full house, quads — five cards each.
• Straight flush and a royal — the top of the table, and worth the detour.

How the daily works

• The board tells you which hands it is made of. Everything on it belongs to one of them.
• Lift your finger to bank a hand. A chain that forms nothing simply dissolves — no penalty.
• Tap a hand you have already banked to put it back, so you can rethink an early mistake.
• Scores are checked by replaying your moves on the server, so a leaderboard is what happened.
